Sooner or later, dark deposits appear on the metal soleplate of the iron. And they disable the iron: you will not be able to use it, as dirty streaks from soot will remain on the clothes. It is difficult to "reanimate" a damaged thing, since these stains are almost impossible to remove with any modern means.
If you think that carbon deposits on an iron are a sign that the appliance can no longer be used, you are mistaken. Even tough black deposits can be removed quickly and easily with one trick you can use.
The iron will be as good as new
Although most people think that cleaning burnt deposits from the soleplate is simply an impossible task, there is a completely simple way after which the iron assistant will shine.
All you need is tweezers and a few paracetamol tablets.
The procedure is quite simple:
- turn on the iron to heat it to maximum temperature;
- then take a pill with tweezers (so as not to burn your fingers) and start rubbing it on the stain.
Soon you will see how the dirt moves away from the iron. After completing the procedure, simply wipe the soleplate of the iron with a dry, clean cloth. Repeat the procedure 2-3 times.
In this simple way, you will make your iron clean in a few minutes. Your assistant will shine like new.
